Our Story

Telecommunications Sector

  • Initial Ventures: Began with the supply of 25 OKI FAX machines from Japan to the Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB).
  • Significant Projects: Notable achievement in 2006 with the turnkey supply of Digital Microwave Links for 65 Upazillas, collaborating with STRATEX, USA. While successfully executing several projects with the BTTB with International Partners.
  • Integrated Telecom Projects: We have delivered multiple integrated telecom projects support of several renowned western OEMs to TITAS GAS, JALABAD GAS, and Bangladesh Gas Fields, funded by the Asian Development Bank. These projects encompassed Digital Microwave Backbone Systems, GAS SCADA SYSTEM, VHF Base/Repeaters, Control Centers, and various infrastructure components including Construction of large numbers of self-supporting Towers ranging from 120-350ft from USA.

Defense & Law Enforcement Sector

  • Air Defense Initiative: We are at the forefront of enhancing Bangladesh’s air defense capabilities. Our collaboration with the esteemed Rheinmetall Group is a testament to our commitment to bolstering national defense.
  • Short, Medium & Long range Artillery: Surface to surface, Surface to air and air to surface weapons and missile system. Our partnership with global defense leaders is focused on introducing advanced weapon systems, significantly strengthening the security architecture of Bangladesh.
  • Mobile Networks for Air Force and VVIPs: Instrumental in setting up mobile networks for the Bangladesh Air Force and VVIP state-level officials.
  • Nationwide Police Communication Network: Established a Nationwide DMR network for Bangladesh Police.

 

Bangladesh Army Tactical Radio Business:  Radiant played a substantial role in Tactical Communication networks for the Bangladesh Armed Forces over the past two decades being a major supplier of Radios and communication systems to Signal Directorate for the following:

  • Tactical HF Radios – Manpack, Vehicular and Fixed Versions with Encryption and Data Transmission
  • Tactical VHF Radio – Manpack and Vehicular Versions with Encryption and Data Transmission.
  • Tactical field switches
  • Tactical Field Exchange, 10,20, 40, and 60 lines capacity. 

Nuclear Science & Healthcare 

 

Radiant anticipates the expanding use of atomic nuclear forces in enhancing healthcare. Radioactive substances will revolutionize diagnostics through precise internal imaging using tracers, and in treatment, particularly in cancer therapy, where targeted radiation and isotopes directly combat cancer cells. Additionally, nuclear gamma irradiation with Cobalt-60 will play a key role in sterilizing medical equipment, ensuring safety by eliminating pathogens from a wide range of medical tools and disposables.

Key Achievement in Nuclear Healthcare

Cobalt-60 Gamma Irradiation Plant: In a landmark success, we partnered with a world leading supplier to initiate Bangladesh’s largest gamma irradiation plant under Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. This facility is set to revolutionize the sterilization of medical disposables, enhance the quality and shelf life of local food and agricultural products, and open up new export markets requiring advanced sterilization standards.

 

Infrastructure – Power Sector Contributions

  • Digital Transformer Monitoring & Control system fund awarded by GOB
  • Transmission Line tower and line erection
  • Collaborations with Global Giants: Worked with Sumitomo Corporation, ALSTHOM, HITACHI, ANSALDO, and MHI.
  • Key Power Projects: Local partner for Fehchugong 90MW CC Power Plant, Meghnaghat 350MW IPP, Shahjibazar 100 MW Power Plant, and execution of power transmission lines
